I have to move around some long notes in EoF. However I want them to be extended to the next note on  the board. I can't seem to find a way to do this in the simple menus. Anyone can help me?

Use the mouse's scroll wheel or the [ and ] keys to change the length of selected notes. There are some controls that are mouse and keyboard driven instead of being available in the menu system. Generally these are all described in Help>Keys and the tutorials in the help menu.
