Paypal Chargebacks (What to do and not do?)

Featured Replies

Okay, I've streamed off and on and have done it just for fun, but I'm looking to make a serious go of it and that brings me to the whole idea of Donations. Prior to this, it was never something of a concern given I was just streaming sporadically. Now that I'm looking to stream with a schedule and doing things like Donations, I've done research on forums as well as YouTube videos. The more I've read into the whole idea of Donation Trolls where people donate and then later ask for their donation back, thus triggering Chargebacks, I'm back on the fence of whether to go down this road.

So, what I've seen on YouTube and read online, I'm still not getting a clear picture of what to do. I guess I'm asking other Streamers on here that have their donations set up as to what they do to protect themselves from Chargebacks. Do I Credits Card option? Paypal option? Both? Neither? Something else? Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
