To those managing the google sheets, the score of 90.62 with a streak of 78 was for the rhythm section of this song.

this song should be renamed to Opeth - The Funeral (for your score because the chords are spaced so close together that it's almost impossible to not miss one) portrait. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad chart, just needs some minor tweaking because even on the song I can hear slight pauses while switching chords.

81% on Advanced bass.... and that,s pretty much it for this week.

It´s a good thing i did NOT spend 15 hours producing a very good version of JC - Folsom Prison blues this january just to find out when i was about to release that it is part of the official DLC pack and just didnt make it to ignition....

 

Furthermore it is REALLY GOOD that exactly the same DID NOT happen now with JC - I walk the line which i did not find in ignition and the prechart check in the steam store .....

Really fun song to play... but now I got cramps in my right arm :)

 

I have to remind myself that I had and have been playing for less than half a year and wouldn't have gotten this far without Rocksmith :)

4 string chords on bass should be illegal.   I did not even get to finish the song.

Master Mode Bass Challenge

 

Without the advantage of 'here's one I did earlier', hmmmmm Misses S   ;)    I had to start from the beginning 

 

 

which was a little bit of a struggle, but with a little perseverance.......

 

 

i started to get there, and with a little patience I got a bit better.......

 

 

and once i stopped getting all excited and missing the last bloody notes due to nerves and forgetfulness, i got there

@@Telboy - yeah, you are doing exactly what i wanted to recommend you!

There is, from my pov - really no need for an extra MM challenge, just take any played song, e.g. the weeks beginners song and compete on that MM-wise. If you have a nice challenge going on, we really like to see it continuing to the next week(s).

 

This goes also out to any player: If you for some reason keep on fighting a track (to get the uplevel limit or whatever) don´t hessitate to post the screenie in what ever week you want!!!

 

 

BTW: are you guitarstringbroken or what ;)

If you're using the same pick that you use on guitar, maybe try a thicker pick?

My latency is that far off that I don't do scores.  I try to concentrate on sound.  :D

@@missis sumner I concentrate on the sound as well, just a bonus to get a good score as well, this little taster challenge really made me go for it with the advantage of actually learn the song,

Is it still the goddamn cable?

Yeah they are sooo badly build. My advice is clear: NEVER plug the RS cable directly into guitar/bass.

 

I have one that is in my "travel guitar bag" and i use it over at a friends once every two weeks or so. I don´t have a volume pedal or split box or effect pedal or anything there so it goes to my guitar, and ... rarely used it is just the shadow of whats called good condition anymore.

Yes, it is.  I'm playing on a generic Maplin one as a mic input to the game, and whilst I seem to have sorted the volume issues (it's an awful lot louder than the Realtone cable), it takes a while for the game to recognise that I'm playing a note, to the point that if I'm not ahead of the beat, it doesn't register some things.

 

I will have another go at my settings again tonight.

What would you recommend to place between RS and guitar?

@missis sumner  I play with Dunlop jazz III. Its 1.,38mm. 

I don't feel that its to thin but it might be a bit small for the bass strings. 

 

 

@Vodka   I just use a cheap cable extender that is fastened under the table i have my computer on.  That way i never need to move the Real tone cable.

@@Stark_Knight Weird, I don't have any problems with switching chords, but adding the rhythm part just right before the solos wasn't the best idea. I will correct this as fast as possible
