First attempt for the week.

 

 

I love playing the Gojira tune. I'll post a score soon. I just need to clean up my tapping a bit. I am having a problem getting the release note to register. With a little work, I should be able to post a decent score. It's really fun to play

Seems using my pick to "finger" tap works best so I'm gonna have to see if I can continue to improve the score

 

 

@ glad to hear it, I would download additional songs to use the pedal with because It's one of those things that you enjoy the more you use it. Without it, I never would have realized that some of my favorite songs to play are in C and B standard.

@@Stark_Knight got the drop pedal tonight and this my first time using it.  Seems to work really well, now I need to practice the song

 

Sorry, must have been asleep when you two started discussing this, but would said pedal work with bass?

@@missis sumner FYI, i've still haven't seen any pedal that doesn't work on either bass or guitar. Some effect might not sound exactly the same but it won't suddenly stop working.

 

As for the specific of the pitch shift, i used mine with both bass and guitar and have the exact same result on both.

Honestly wasn't expecting to pass it. Only worked (and still working) on getting first two riffs up to speed. 2fast4me

Very often when I select Heartbreaker my RS encounters a fatal error and crashes. Rarely this happens also with other CDLCs. I don't own the Cherub Rock DLC, but it should work anyway with another official DLC. Any advices?

@missis_sumner Seems to work great for bass as well.  My bass was tuned to E standard for this.  The mistakes were me not able to make my fingers go fast enough.

I'm getting better at it. Just need to clean up my technique a bit. It doesn't sound too bad, but it's still not registering everything.

This tune starts out being not very 7y, then gets extremely 7y at the end. Glad to finally have a good file of this song, I tried the other ones and...   :huh:

The tappy bit kinda caught me off guard at the start, so I went and learned it properly.

All my friends are huge rock Horror freaks. One of my friend in high school some 25+ years ago even played Riff Raff, I think, in a live weekly production or whatever it was. It was a long time ago, so I don't quite remember all the details.
