7 years old Mortalo loved the blue alien.

If this is what you guys consider a 9 I'll likely need my fingers amputated for a 10.

It's solid as 9. Nowhere near madness of Black Widow of La Porte or even some fancy Megadeth.

A little bit shocked I've got that 85% considering that I'm playing only a year

For the first time in over two weeks, I've been able to use my still bandaged up middle finger.  Just call me Tony Iommi...!

 

And just to cheer myself up, today I have sent a large sum of money to a total stranger in Germany.  Look out for New Bass Day, soon. :)

@@Rodman i fear our battle may not be as closely fought this week as i was just about to post my 97.7% progress score for the night, then i saw the amazing score you posted  :(

 

however it did spur me on to a bit of a better score,

 

 

we will see how the week progresses, but i am more than happy with this.

 

my previous best for the Gold Motel Bass was 84% which i upped yesterday and upped again tonight,

 

 

and a little better on the Lead,

 

 

 

as for the Blue (bloody do da dee bloody da) song ...... well it just looks like a load of purple, green and orange colours coming out of the screen at me much too fast for my fingers to react to so i only got 54% (and that might not improve in the slightest).

My best ever mastery & accuracy scores ever. Some uplay achievement also popped saying 'true player' or something too. So happy  :D  :D  :D!!!.
I'm sorry it's not in score attack, i was about to riff repeat and playing until i made a mistake.. but didn't seem to make many at all. lol.

Fun little song, really high energy!!  That verse always psyches me up. Kind of a messy solo here by me, I'll be back with a 99 in not long.

 

 

Lots of people saying this is hard for a 9, and it is. But this is no 10. A truly Herculean tune, but achievable by mortals!

 

So much of getting a high score in this one comes down to nailing that insane chorus riff that makes up almost half the notes in the song. I think if I grind it hard I can break 90.

Sorry m8! I charted a Boston Hardcore, and after that a Boston Metalcore Song the hours before that CS try, and was quite on fire for some fastchords.

I don't have much time to play this week...

Rhythm Latest:

 

Can't seem to sight read this one at all and too many parts for my brain to memorize (although I am trying).  I only got ~86% at 25%.  Fortunately, I can play the parts OK, so, maybe I will have a breakthrough before the week is up.

 

 

@@Rodman What Boston hardcore did you create CS for?  I grew up in the early 80s Boston Hardcore (and metal - it's a long story) scene.

after that little frenzy of finger activity the Gold Motel song seemed bloody easy, especially when i realised that the chord i was missing is only one finger and three frets away from the one i never miss...... hence

A little tip on this song, fingerings on the chart are very uncomfortable...

 

You can transpose the whole song between the first and fourth string, and  from the 10th to the 13th fret
