Nono, never going to force anyone to buy ODLC! New beginner song will be edited in.

Important Orga Note:

 

 

Song Selection List is a bit slim, for example there are exactly 0 (zero) Beginner Songs there at the moment.

And Song Selection List quality depends on your contributions 100%.

Time shows that those who contribute do regularly contribute 4 songs and go for it again, when 2 or 3 of those are selected. There is a high chance that they would enter more than 4 at once if possible.

 

So we will try to raise the amount of possible entered songs to 10 per player.

 

Still RNG Rules apply, not to favor those to much who have put in many song - we

- strictly count multiple entrances in a class from one player as 1 for RNG

- prefer not to have multiple songs chosen from one player as long as others available.

- prefer not to have the same class chosen from the same player in following weeks

 

So ALL WHO LIKE TO PLAY HERE - please go to SSL and put in up to 10 songs of your choice and have it selected to go for the challenge in the coming weeks!

 

Make sure to have a testrun for quality it must have at least Lead or Rhythm and Bass (if there is a bassline in it)

and

make sure to rate for difficulty (1 - Beginner to 10 - God of Guitar) for the paths you have played or it will take months till the song is selected!

Does it mean we can all suggest songs to play? What if they have been chosen before?

Also, how would I rate difficulty for the rhythm and lead parts? I used to play electric before but it's been 10 years... only bass now.

1) one word: YES!!!!

go there: Song Selection List

Enter up to 10 songs of your choice (-must be available in the database/ignition, must have at least one guitar track and bass (if played), must have working RR and custom tone (about all songs will or can be corrected easily)), leave a comment why it´s good, what you like about it, and rate at least the part (bass for you) that you did test.

 

2) well, let´s put it that way.... yes, allowed but the time it has been played should be >52weeks ago at least and in that case please fill in the difficulties already known from last time.

 

5) the only one who can change that is you! 4) seems like an excellent background for that and then 3) would be self-explaining ;) meanwhile leave blank.

I just love this band. :-)

Another behind schedule Da Capo week from Gamut! :D When I do Da Capo weeks, I go out of my way to pick especially good songs from the past, so hopefully the fact that these are repeats is made better by the fact that they're good'uns!

 

 

One of my favourite classic power metal bands. Some very tricksy bits for beginners - particularly the pinch harmonics (which are charted as naturals, but don't be fooled!). Solo's nice and easy though, and even the tricky bits are pretty short and digestible!

 

 

This chart is a lot less good than I remember it being, but it's just as catchy as last time! ♫~

 

 

God I love this song. The melodic chordy bit is one of the most powerful bits of music I've ever heard.

 

This chart's all about consistency and endurance. I like alternative picking the main riff, but some people say I'm crazy for not downpicking it. :lol:
