How do I go about obtaining lyrics for song in EOF?

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new to creating customs and was wondering how to get lyrics for a custom I was working on with EOF.

Thanks, Sam :)

Download the lyric from internet and use the ultrastar creator program to sincronize the text with the music, with this program you generate a file to import in EOF with the lyric import option (F8), here you need to syncronize again the text with the music (song>track>Part vocals) why? probably because you add a leading silence at the begining of the song (use the option select all to move all at the same time), and after save you have a xml file, this xml file generated in EOF is needed in rocksmith toolkit to add in the RS file.

As above said. And when you´re in EOF synching the lyrics. First thing to do is CTRL+A -> CTRL+C (Copy all vocals) And then delete them and paste them in again. This will remove the autogenerated "sentence" breakers (Blue bar behind lyrics). Line them up. use mouse scroll to change how long the word is heard and then mark all words you want on ONE line and use CTRL+M. Do this through the whole song. You´ll understand :) Maybe there´s an easier way?

I just type in the lyrics directly into EOF, it's very simple. I don't see the need for yet another program (there are already so many involved in making cdlcs). The lyrics are nothing fancy, but then most of the time I'm focused on playing guitar, not reading lyrics. I find having the lyrics in EOF makes it easier to create the tab too.
