Been a wonderful CS year again. So many players, so many great scores submitted, and best to see so much improvement everywhere.

Thx esp. to Morti, Frippo, Gamighty and Motive, as well as to MaZ, Missis S and Jeff keeping the quality where we all want it to be.

 

Personally RS, CF, CSwise a really good year with, looking back on my hangover Helloween heavy metal session yd, quite some improvement, nice! Besides that over 5000, close to 10000 dls on my cdlcs, i must continue!

So, does anyone have a version of Stayin' Alive where the sound is not offkey? It's really annoying.

 

Also, either I became much better in the last year, or the 6 is a tad high.

Alright, so first go in intermediate lead, started the week at 50%ish.  Up to 78%, think I'll be happy around 85% by the end of the week.  Definitely not my kind of song, cool riff, but man it would be better if the vocalist took some time off to get that help he needs.

Got to embarrass myself on stream for this sightread! :lol: *hands disintegrate*

Alright learned a couple things today. One I need more practice using a pick with my bass, I can do it it just feels unnatural. Kinda like I'm holding everything upside down. Two I really need to let the blister on my middle finger heal up a bit more, so that I can get away from using the pick.

 

Big improvement from where I started the Rhythm part. Little steps on lead. And I kinda gave up on playing the bass with the pick and just did what I was used to. Maybe I can get another better bass run in this week, expect a couple more improvements on lead as well. Everything over 80% at this point aiming for 85% by week end.

I must admit, Bon Jovi was one of the first concerts my 16 year old self visited, 1984 with Lee Aaron in the Volksbildungsheim Frankfurt. Actually it was the second one. First one was Rodgau Monotones (someone here knows them? I'd be suprised) in a Tent in Babenhausen and the third one was Monsters of Rock in Karlsruhe, with AC/DC, Accept, Dio, Gary Moore, Ozzy and Van Halen.

Can't seem to get the muting and bends to work.

 

I was about to give up on this one. The fast part was just a bit too quick for me to keep up with it. After several hours in the RR and several failed attempts, I gave it one last shot before bed. I don't think I can do any better..

 

Nice score Mellon.   No chance in hell i can beat that.      So i played something else.

I impressed myself with those scores.  I'm lucky or better than i think.

@@MellonFarmer - wow! I was about to go to RR and fight for the lead @@MaZtoR hard, but a 98, no sir!!! I think places are taken, congratulations! Still i am very happy with my score here (you damn masterclassers ;) ;) ;) ) haha. Already looking for a few great fights the next weeks!
