So I have a few songs that go into the 29's on the fret board and on EOF I am having the notes not come out right in the game. It must be something with the camera that I'm not doing right, but I did change the fret count to 30+ and it doesn't work in game, the notes don't come out. Any help :D

EOF won't export notes with fret numbers that high (over fret 24), Rocksmith doesn't support that and it could cause the game to crash. If the notes in question aren't on the high E string, you can transpose them onto another string. Otherwise the chart will just have to leave those out.

@@raynebc yeah, as high as you can go is just 24+max bend bend value is smth like +3 frets up so it would be 27 fret pitchwise.

possible workaround would be using pitch shift pedal to octave up and play those high notes on lower frets :)

how would you go about transposing them. I have these two parts that I want to fix. one of them is

@TranceXZero  welp according to amon amarth bass they've got 7 frets offset from the note so your seq should look like 22-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14 could be the same for sweep

not sure if values are 100 right but assumption is like 98% for me :)

@@TranceXZero You just have to substract 12 and you get the same note one octave lower so that would give you :

 

17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9

 

And you will need to add an octave up effect in the tone for that section.

cool i'll try that, and this is on the same string for the one that's on the one string right?

Yeah and you can do the same for the sweeping pattern, just lower the fret value by 12 and use an octaver on the tone and it should work fine enough ingame.

I didn't even know they made guitars with more than 24 frets.

Ibanez have a 30 fret guitar, not sure who else created that kind of exotic guitar (most of what i found are prototype and haven't been sold to the public) but i don't think you'll find many song that uses that kind of guitar. I think you are more likely to encounter 7 or even 8 strings guitar than 27 or more fret guitar nowadays.

I just remembered, I actually used to own one of those cheapy Fender 12 acoustics. Great value for what you pay for them. Who needs a solid top when you have something that sounds that lush?

I agree. It sound great, but it's not the guitar for me. I think the first time I saw someone playing a 12 string guitar was bon jovi playing an acoustic version of Livin on a Prayer.

One thing you got to know about me, 99% of the time, Sarcasm will go straight over my head. Then again, it's kinda hard to convey sarcasm through an internet forum lol.

I know someone with a 36 fret guitar (can't remember the make offhand). The higher frets are crazy small and really only meant for right hand tapping
