Hi!
I'm curious about the dll file. What does it do ? Why do we need it ? How can the game recognize offically bought dlc's, but needs this dll for the custom ones.

@@csirke all official DLC have a specific ID that correspond to that specific song (a 6 digit code), the game only recognize the song for which the ID correspond to an ID you own which is why customs songs will show up if you own Cherub Rock and as long as the CDLC have the same ID as Cherub Rock even without the dll.

The dll allow you to bypass a check code inside the game that has to do with checking if the song is actually the one corresponding to the ID (i'm not sure what are the exact check done by the game though).

I'd rather say that all song has it's own Certificate sign and all the cdlc files are unsigned so dll will bypass that certificate checks, but why to bother on what it does. it just enables you to play CDLC content, that's all you need to know :P

place it along with RSremastered exe file  and you're ready to go (also don't forget to buy that Cherub rock song ;) )
