I have no idea what could be broken with it; I did every thing right with it but nothing works. I do think something the Wwise or the rs custom song creator. What the preview is putting is this high pitch electronic sound and if anyone has got past this problem please help me.

@@primethunder are you able to run any other cdlc? Are you own cherubrock?you should be able to play i5 if you have that cdlc feachure anabled and you’ve got cherubrock dlc bought so default appid will work for you. If you’ve got all working 3xcept yours cdlc post it so we could validate that and suggest worksaround :)

I am having a similar problem. I just started using a new laptop and installed steam and RS2014 on it the same way I did on my previous computer and uploaded songs from here and used toolkit the same (I've always used Freddie King - Hideaway as the appid thing since I had purchased it) but this time when I click a custom song and hit play after it shows the message to make sure you are tuned to E it goes back to the previous screen of the selected song and freezes.... any help kindly appreciated.

Nevermind I just figured it out and fixed it. I had forgot to download that d3dx.dll file and place it in my RS2014 root folder, all good in the hood now.
