Writing harmonic between frets in Guitar Pro

Hi,

Maybe it's a trivial question (I admit I'm new to all of this), but on the song I'm currently working on, there's an harmonic located three-fourth the distance between the 1st and 2nd frets.

I don't know if these information are relevant, but just in case:

- Drop D

- Capo on the 1st fret (yeah, this one is definitely relevant :))

- Pitch: G#

- The way I see it on the source, it's supposed to be a natural one... but it's not possible, is it?

Question is: how do I write that in Guitar Pro?

Thanks!

@@Toopee GP will automatically indicate it properly with a dotted fret number when there's no natural harmonic right on the given fret you put the natural harmonic on.

Thanks for the answer @@firekorn, unfortunately if it worked for the fret 2 (transformed into 2.4) natural harmonic a bit earlier on the track, on fret 1 the natural harmonic option is grayed out. (I checked out of curiosity and It's available almost for every fret but 1, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 23)

That's what I feared. Guess it's something wrong with the ("official") tab. I had a doubt knowing how reliable it usually is.

Thanks again for taking the time to explain!

Well if you share at least a screen of what the tab indicate maybe i could help you figure out what should be played but without any information on what song it is and how it was written on the tab, i could guess many very different things.

Well asking for a G# over an F is unlikely to happen in the harmonic of a guitar, if the pitch is effectively a G# a 4th fret harmonic should actually do the trick.

Thanks, I'll try that!

I also noticed that the note of the harmonic is not the same on the tab and GP.

Could that be because of the capo?

Sorry to bother you with those questions, I think I took a tab that is way beyond by level ;)
