Powerslave is one of my favourite albums of all time, so I've played this one on Learn A Song many times. Here's my first score attack try though... The 100% is very doable, missed a few notes because I didnt remember the chart really well...

 

 

I am originally from Boston and never tried to play J. Geils before.  Never too late :)

This week was really hard to balance. In terms of difficulty on lead, Stickerbrush is very tricky for Int players... but the Advanced and MC are both on the easy side, so all three are really close to 6-7. Everything's really close to 6-7 on all three paths!

Really cool instrumental from Iron Maiden. Reminds me when we played Genghis Khan. How long ago was that, now? Man, I'm getting old. 

Bass day today!  Got to work on the stickerbush one a lot more.  Pinky keeps locking up right at the beginning.  But hooray for already getting the Love stinks one figured out.

Thanks for keeping this going all!  Good way to keep me focused on one song a week. (Well per part I suppose).  What's the average time for moving up past beginner, or does it vary a lot.  And No I don't want to move up yet!

Bad habit identified - left hand muting while palm muting. Rocksmith doesn't like this technique.

Well I have given all the Int, Beg & Adv songs a go both on 6 string and bass, now my left hand is in an ice bucket and I have no strength left in my forearm, plus I have a tingling feeling from shoulder to finger tips.

 

Maybe I have had it it too easy of late or maybe the songs are just to hard and fast for my old upper body.

Hooray for progress. Now to push lead to 90 and rhythm out the window and never speak of it again.  I don't even like spelling it.  Most of my improvements in it are due to the lead part having the same chords. Alright ending my whining section about rithem. Yes I misspelled it intentionally.  No that spelling isn't any better.
