Little Bones on bass

I think the beginner and intermediate bass might be backwards in difficulty. This is after the first couple runs at each.

 

Gotta say, playing my bass is a lot of fun.

@@Tonedef - are you sure? freebirding is dangerous and might decellerate your progress. We have seen fbs posting far less scores most probably cause if you are not in the competition you don´t feel pushed to play and post that much.

week 209 - ... so what do we have?

 

sadly another tribute week with a nice song on the lower diff side so everyone can participate here.

On MC side i agree with @@Nick K. that "the show must go on" is hard to classify - yes it is mostly solopart that on the other hand is never very hard..... would meet adv, too - as we have a true MC track in GoG that exceeds the 10mins limit and thus is pushed higher every MC participant who finds queen no challenge should give that one a try.

For rhythm.... no hard tracks there, so masterclassers - if someone wants a harder competition here just scream.

Had a moment to try Tragically Hip, was expecting to see chart of skittles tossed randomly at the runway but was nicely surprised I managed this. I'm a bit under the weather atm (as was determined by my efforts to play the other tracks this morning, providing diminishing returns) so may come back with other scores in the week.

@@Rodman thanks, but I'm not ready to level up at the moment as I have a lot of weekends & work trips coming up.

I only played that one because I couldn't get the intermediate song to work.

 

Having said that I am finding the Rhythm and Bass a lot easier these days so we will see how I get on over the next couple of weeks

Got some good bass practice in today.  Anyone else have a problem with the extra vibration from the bass riding up your frethand arm?  I feel a sympathetic vibration in my elbow for quite a bit after I finish playing . . . might just be a problem from practicing to long in a continuous run or the weight difference. *shrug*

Now to practice the lead parts after a wee break.

No, not really.  Could you be holding on too tight/fretting too hard?

 

I say "not really", because I have noticed some basses vibrate more than others, but this is more a whole body vibration, rather than just arm, lol.
