Ok, Jeff - i took the time and tributed The Hip a bit until i found one that is also well playable for you in diff as you suggested it, so tribute is set and starts in 2morrows competition.

I am so rusty, it's been a while.... Anyways, it's the first time I'm playing through this song. I really enjoy the solo I have to say. Aiming for no fails and 95% atm.

Well, objective 1 completed. Time to get 95%+ !

Well at least I got a good improvement on the bass part.

 

My hand cramps tell me that I've worked on the lead all week, my score swears I haven't improved much. Might get in a little more practice after work tonight if I'm lucky.  See if I can inch this thing to 90.

Haven't been around as much as I should be - didn't play ANYTHING in last week's CS!! Such shame! :persevere: Let's put some more effort into this great batch:

 

 

Sigh was one of my first metal bands and this track in particular is really ingrained in my soul.

 

In week 92, when I played this last, I tried really hard and got 96.5 in the end. Two years later, and I can do a little better than that with just a little warmup. Come so far, and still so far to go...!

 

 

Tired out my fingers with a bunch of new songs in D Standard, but still managed a little improvement here afterwards.

 

Hopefully another try or two on these after some rest for the old digits.
