Man Corpsecry will need a bit of work....

Okay I tried it. I like some pretty obnoxious music but I feel like I've somehow been assaulted after hearing and trying to play this song.

Such a nice song with hammer lyrics...

It means: "Brush your teeth - toilet and straight bedways!" and tells the story of a poor poor bandmember who is followed by that sentence as his karma the whole life through.

Since a few weeks my kids sing that one all of the time ;)

@@MaZtoR - absolute insane score on that advanced song! YD, just for fun i pressed record on my equipment to capture the guitar line fed by my amp to see how that sounds - and i swear shxx is the lil brother of what was to be heard on that recording :) I´m on the edge of the speed to get those notes all the way and with a lil effort could make it a 92 or somewhat, still would sound like hell.

New (old) bass day for me again today.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKRzlCNW1UR1JKRkk/view?usp=sharing

So I have been playing Motown, Bee Gees, Mamas & the Papas, War of the Worlds (mistake on this bass), Leonard Cohen, Manic Street Preachers (yes, honestly), Bob Marley and CCR...

I'll be back tomorrow, probably, unless I think of some other songs that suit this bass... :D

Meh, better score than it felt like.  Sounded horrible, too many flubbed notes, plenty of time left to practice this week though.  Bar chords are killing me wimpy hands on the lead part.  I'll probably post a score on it tomorrow.

Better, but a long way off sounding decent.

thats it for me this week, i couldn't get the INT song to work and I'm going to Dublin tomorrow for a long weekend so i'll be back next week,

see ya later.

Alright 12 things, er 2 . . 2 things.

1) Ow

2) Why is F to C such a pain in my arse.

Duk41mk.jpg

Continuing to work on this one, couple more days in the week right.

Also starting to practice my sight reading again with the real book.  Can't figure out notes nearly as fast on the guitar as I can sight read on a trumpet, so I can't figure out the notes and play them in tempo which is frustrating a bit, but great fun figuring it out and as I figure out the patterns on my hands I can start to figure out the cadence.

Ok, Jeff - i took the time and tributed The Hip a bit until i found one that is also well playable for you in diff as you suggested it, so tribute is set and starts in 2morrows competition.

A late start for me this week, for reasons already posted.

I have played this before, and 100%'ed it, but anyway:

It seems I Iike knorks... :o

This is never a 9:

But this is probably easier (not a lot):

and I forgot to screenshot it at the right time.

We played Twist My Arm in week 88, and then again sometime later as a bonus bass track.

Of course, now that there is a FreeBird (me) paying attention, you can trust that I never wait until next week to post a tribute.  Back in a moment

"Like a bird on the wire, Like a drunk in a midnight choir, I have tried in my own way to be free" Leonard Cohen - RIP

Harlequin Hollow Archtop Bass     Hollow Toby Bass VI     Starcaster Bass     A trio of hollow archtops (new)

Just a start - I have to get out of the man-cave and into the kitchen before I burn dinner.
