1.4.1.1 Beta D3DX9_42.dll validation/replacement problem

Hi,

 

Installed CFSM 1.4.1.1 Beta.

Run it and it asked to replace D3DX9_42.dll.

After replacing it, RS2014 (not Remastered) stopped working. Run it, nothing happens.

 

I had made a backup before replacing it so I restored it and RS2014 works again.

 

What version is the D3DX9_42.dll for?

I have version RS2014 v165.260519 (v7) installed.

 

I was wondering if there is a newer patch I am missing, the file is for an older version or the file is for Remastered.

    Backup CDLC link ^^ - should list even the ones that got removed for inactive links...
    just restored my ability to login again, so will try to slowly resubmit the missing ones...

    @@cfg If you don't have the remastered version, it's either because you have a pirate version or haven't put steam online for about a years. In the first case we won't help you in anyway, in the later, just let steam update RS and everything will work smoothly.

    In CFSM 'Settings' menu just uncheck the box 'Validate the D3DX9_42.dll' and CFSM won't replace your file.
