Might go some attempts later on. And as other have said earlier, careful with the bends at the end at the 9th fret, I had to bend my 'purple' (Low E) string up to the 'blue' (D) string at least, lol ;D

The purple string is the High e string.  The red one is the low E.   Its about frequency and not the placement on the guitar.

Oh... Well that's me for the week :) Not arsed about 100%ing the first two... The Monkees was good fun though :)

i dont get the like thing. I am not a social media person. Do you just like everything? I like posts that are bass or songs i like with good scores. i get likes and am unsure why often. Maybe someone can explain the rules or point behind likes.

 

In the cs threads I like the posts when there's a screenshot/vido and that the poster picked up her/his guitar/bass/both to play a song and have some fun. I don't mind the score, because the skills are different, there's a learning curve when you're a beginner and by playing you show motivation. There's no difference if it's a subpar performance in beginner or a 99.9% in a masterclass - the score is not the most important imho.

 

The other point when I hit a like is the content - if it's something funny, if I think the imformation is useful for example.

 

I'm not at fb where the like comes from and @@Tonedef neither in other social media :D

 

This is my personal "strategy" for giving likes and no blueprint ofc - everybody should hit like where he/she likes ;)

Both these songs were really tough for me this week.  But at least I got them both up to 75%.  Got to say I feel like I mostly cheated on the rhythm one. Couldn't figure out all the G chord changes, so I played straight G chords which sounded find.  Doesn't sound too bad if I boil it down to a G C and D chord.  Maybe if I get a little more time this week I'll be able to kick it up a bit more.  I just keep focusing on the lead, because I still can't get that first riff right. Proudly failing and improving.

And for my first bass attempt, I think the scoring of RS was quite generous, I'd probably place it around an 80.  But you know gift horses and all that.

Bit late to the party this week, but still time for greatness!

 

 

Very shreddy for a Babymetal song, feels more like power metal than their usual fare. I dig it!

I like his movies better than his music, still a fun song though, didnt have a ton of time this week but got a lot more comfortable on that funky e7#9 from that hendrix song which I had been putting off, that fast power chord part was tricky

I was tuned low so I with start with BM. WZ to follow

 

Well i am just gunna be happy with play through number 1. A 3 song and not ready to move up just because i know the song well having played it so many times.

 

Hooray over 80% before the end of the week on this one.  This I'll go cry myself to sleep over all the spilled notes.
