I was wondering if WWISE only reads WAV files. If so, you would need to convert mp3 files to wav to be able to add them on Wwise?

Thanks

Hi Firekorn

Been away from customforge for a while. What do you mean by that ? Using WWise to create a WEM is not necessary anymore, the toolkit does it ?

@@Jefbyos I'm not sure how else could i explain it, instead of putting a wem file in the audio field of the toolkit when generating a CDLC, you can just put the ogg/wav file directly and the toolkit will take care of the conversion to the wem format. Note that you still need wwise to be installed on your PC for it to work but this eliminate any kind of human error in the process.

Good to know ! Wwise manipulations were not that hard, but I tend to forget those. Plus the time saved in the process... I definitely will give it a try next time I create or amend a CDLC.

Thanks for the tip !
