hi, just a new user here - really looking forward to doing the CDLC on my mac but can't seem to run install file for patch.  I followed the instructions from the custom forge mac install guide and downloaded the patch, but when i double click it to run it, it says i don't have access to run the file.  I am the administrator of my laptop and i have made sure (as per the instructions in the mac install guide) that "read and write" is set as my permission level for the file.  Am running OSX 10.9.5.  Any ideas?  Would love to be able to play CDLC.

It does sound like a permissions issue.  I remember having similar issues and had to set mine through Terminal.  I'm running a really old OS though. 

Type in 

chmod a+x

 then drag the patch into terminal and press enter. Try that
