I am listed as 97.37 with a streak of 185 for Dire Straits for masterclass lead guitar, stijnw2000 had this score.

Black Velvet bass seemed easier to me than a regular intermediate score. I would rather not level up, if I have the choice.

@@RSjeffH I can think about that, though I don't think that Scorpions song can pass, I really don't like that custom as lead is pretty empty.

 

As we are talking about songs, I should remind you of Song Selection List.

SSL is a place where every participant can choose up to 4 songs that later will have a chance to be selected for one of the upcoming weeks. You can pick official on disk songs (no official dlc, though) or any custom that has Riff Repeater and Custom Tone (lack of custom tone can break the game). Songs are sorted and selected by it's lead difficulty so it's always good to fill at least that one difficulty rating there to save us some time :) (it does not need to be very accurate, at least giving us some idea).

 

I have some songs on the Selection List. I found a nice easy (maybe too easy)  Hurricane song.  Theory of a Deadman - Hurricane

Well i wish I had given this more time during the week. Just a couple extra plays and I really got the swing of it(pun intended). Maybe I can get some in before closing time tomorrow.

not many scores for me this week due to work, family, and holiday preparations which is a shame as i'm going to a couple of places mentioned in the songs, Chicago first, then Memphis, then New Orleans, then on to Florida .....if Irma leaves any of Florida  :(

i was loving this song as i missed it last time for some reason, and i was chasing Misses S when Twang the bloody A string broke, so no more bass this week.

 

 

I'm sure this sounded perfect but the score tells another story  :huh:

@@RSjeffH Yup, it's too easy for that tuning. We don't want Beginners to tune to low.

I'm recycling my 2015 score - don't think that I've a chance to play it in the few hrs left

We all started in the same place. Well i did anyway. There may be a few savants out there:)

Almost missed this week. I was gonna play last night, but went to lay down on the couch for a few minutes and fell asleep. Got to play it a couple times this morning, but having tried it in the past, I knew I wasn't going to be in contention this week anyway.
