What is the new RSToolkit version that allows you to not have to use wwise?

Ive been told that with the new rstoolkit version using wwise is not necessary. Where can I get it and how do I create cdlc with it without having to use the wwise?

    You still need wwise installed - the toolkit just automates the process for you, if you tell it the correct install location. Saving you the need to open wwise and do the conversions yourself.

    Open Wwise

    Convert your files there

    MORE IMPORTANT NOTE: Rename it to songname.wem

     

    If you created preview track, convert it, and rename it to songname_preview.wem

     

    Hope you don't go through this since it's more time saving to let the toolkit convert it for ya, but if you want to go with converting manually , go for it.
