Wonderful news! Ross has found a way to have working low-end bass notes. I recommend reading http://customsforge.com/topic/4750-going-low-a-workaround-to-get-bass-notes-below-c1-to-register-in-rocksmith/ and it would be wonderful if you could update your already released songs accordingly.

I gave this technique a try and it was both easy to apply and it worked, too.

For existing songs its simply

  • change tuning in EOF by adding 12
  • deny the popup question suggesting auto-transposing
  • edit your custom tunings file for csct (additional bass tunings +12)
  • change the tuning of the bass part in csct to the +12 tunings, and the pitch to 220

Sorry for this shameless plug here but I really want to play those wonderful AA songs with working note recognition :)

I will do it when I get some time over, can you help me out if you get everything you need from the projects?

Someone else with a lot of free time?

For 1 and 2. Changing the tuning in the bass.xml file should be enough for a quick fix. then follow 3 and 4.

For example you can repack Tattered Banners And Bloody flag with this bass arrangement: File and follow 3. and 4.

@@dvxeur, I've released it with no issues now, but rhythm tone are weird I guess. Also B Drop A could be passed by playing open 6th string and 3th string at 2nd fret :)But we need to find more clearer way..And I forget what I wanted to say about one of  WIP songs, will edit this asap.

I was going to be taking on Gods of War Arise next, just a heads up... i play through my amp though so i don't pay too much attention to the tones on Rocksmith though, and i'm sure i'll get better with these syncs (i really need to make sure my audio/video lag is 1:1 before authoring these)...  I'll probably start that Thursday
