Is it just me ,or is when a song is playing,,,is the crowd facing away from the stage??

no big deal but kinda bugs me..

maybe they think i suck and they turn their backs on me!!!

The original Rocksmith game is way more creepy, as the crowd seems to be full of stalkers.

bothers me as well, while rs2014 was the first RS i played it bothered me from the start, like im the guitarist, what am i doing back here, i later found out that the original RS did have you on the stage,infront of the audience, apparently the developers say it was distracting to the player and that RS2014 is aimed more towards an educational piece of software rather than a game.

 

Personally i think the pro is that yes it does then branch off from the genre of video game to educational software, while the con might be it might lose an audience(no pun intended) with a more visually appealing style you can get more people to use it, more kids would be interested in picking up the guitar cause what theyre using to learn adds that kick of excitement seeing people jump infront of you while you play.

 

That being said i assume theyre just trying to move away from the guitar hero genre and identify as something thats not a toy

@@AxLShiv note that if you are playing on stage and depending on the light you might actually see lots of black contour more than anything else, that's not true 100% of the time but RS representation doesn't have you in the back, just that the crowd is hidden in the dark.

 

But i don't care as i deactivated the venue mode, i don't need a crowd to play a song and having lights and crowd is indeed distracting when it comes to sight reading fast and complicated song.

 

Maybe they get back into it if they actually go back a career mode as in the first RS where it would actually makes sense to see the crowd.

@@firekorn considering remastered only came out like half a year ago, i dont see any major changes or even a new game coming out soon, aside from the rumours about that survey they released i dont think theyre gonna be making any big changes soon, maybe 2018/19.

 

Not sure if it be that difficult to implement a 'singstar' type addition to it(mentioned in the survey), i mean theres already ultrastar for pc, but that might insight a mic conflict.

@@AxLShiv I never said anything about a future game coming out anytime soon anyway. i was just making speculation as to why they might go back to a more "realistic" crowd in future iteration.

Keyboard seems to be not that far out of the question but i doubt any kind of brass or even classical strings would have enough of an audience to justify an Ubisoft game...
