Hello all! first time poster here, so i recently got a new laptop and was unable to move all my old Rocksmith tools over from my old one. My old was Windows 7, my new is 10. When i try to boot the EOF.exe it will open multiple cmd prompts rapidly then close, then will open EOF in a white screen while the windows says No song. anybody have a fix?

The only time anybody mentioned resolving this, they indicated it was a problem related to a component of their antivirus software (AVG tune up). Make sure it's not "sandboxing" EOF or doing anything weird like that.

I have the same problem. any idea how to fix?

Same exact problem with the white program window? Try allowing your antivirus software to allow it to run normally instead of behind any protection mechanisms (ie. sandbox) that it may have.

Thank you. I did that, but now its not blank anymore, the bar at the top shows up now, but I cant click on anything. Nothing happens when I click file or help.

Antivirus interference is still the most likely cause. If you're willing to temporarily disable it and see if EOF works, that would be a good test.

That didnt really work either. The stuff comes up on the window but nothing happens when I click on file. Could this be because im running this on a 64bit system?

I develop and run EOF exclusively in 64 bit Windows computers. That's not part of the issue. So far, security software is the only known cause for this. EOF in general works in 32 and 64 bit flavors of Windows XP, probably Vista, 7, probably 8.x and 10.
