I have everything working but heres the thing I finish tuning but the song doesn't appear

Do you own Cherub Rock?

I've got the same problem; I've bought the steam version of RS14, plus Cherub Rock (via the steam store, it's playable in-game). New DLC songs show in the list for me when browse, and I can tune up, but then the game hangs on an empty screen with just the amps showing.

 

Any suggestions please?

I'm not an expert but I just successfully edited sections in a CDLC for the 1st time in my life so I'm feeling confident.

 

you may have to convert your CDLCs to the Mac version since the majority of the CDLCs are uploaded as PC versions;

so you might want to use this: https://www.rscustom.net/ (v2.6.0.0 worked perfectly fine for me, have not yet checked the newer ones)

 

you can also use any other shop DLC instead of "Cherub Rock" with this
