A few weeks ago...

 

I would like the RS Championship leaders to consider a proposal. Have a set "list" that can be used to move up to the next level for those who want to do it the old fashion way and not just wave a magic wand and be promoted.

 

Simply reasoning is that I have something to work on when a song doesn't recognize bends or slides.... and the other song has been beat to death and there is nothing for me to get promoted with. The other reason is one song may appeal to me more than what comes up the next time. The final reason is you may not have time to work on a song during the rare case a promotion worthy song comes up.

 

I am totally coming at this from the 1 and done beginner bass perspective as it is much more common to have promote able songs in the above classes and they will happen less often. Guitar is another monster since you need 3 to move up, but I see no reason beginners couldn't have songs to work towards promotion as well.

 

The list could be pulled pretty quickly from past weeks but I totally understand if this would effect the "system" in a negative way.

Very nice. No, we won't make a list. Even better: You can keep working on any song from the past (3/5/7) of your liking until you hit that 99+/99.5+ and post it when achieved to level up in the meaning of the oldschool way!

 

We have good reasons to have level up esp. uncomplicated, one is that there can be months without uppermost diff songs in classes and that will not be changed.

 

Me myself i am definately an oldscool upleveler cause it adds a lot extracompetition against oneself and the pushing over those high limits is a very challenging thing i would not do otherwise...

 

Sorry for the late answer but summer and holidays keep pushing through ;)

Has anyone tried to connect their guitar to iPad /iPhone to use Garage band or Rocksmith (Canadians)

 

If so what connector / Adaptor did you use ?

 

Looking to buy a lightning to female USB adaptor but not sure if this is the best way.

 

Or should I just get a female to female USB adaptor and use existing Apple cable ?

Awesome. That's what I was getting at, using old songs as a way to pass the old school way at any time. Now we have one who said no and you said yes, who decision counts? :)

 

In Denver....for the scenery of course so 1 play and thats it for me and i am back to looking at the pretty mountains and nothing else at all.

I messed around with the paulo mendonca a bit and that was a ton of fun but the solos are still too fast for me to get down

@@Tonedef - No. We are definately pulling the same strings.

 

Besides oldschool 99+/99.5+ autoupleveling you can level up anytime by letting us know in a post.

 

Working on an old uplevel song and posting the desired score just does combine the above.

 

I think thats clear.

Ah finally.... after 3 years they are releasing it for ipad (!).

 

It shall work with Integrated microphone audio or with any existing Rs cable connected via Usb to Lightning adapter, at least the webexperience says so.

 

Really hope they are going for an android version which would make the use of cdlc more probable.
