this week very difficult for me :(

Last update for the week. Not necesseraly an Opeth or death metal fan, but i kinda liked the calmer part at the middle.

 

In Denver....for the scenery of course so 1 play and thats it for me and i am back to looking at the pretty mountains and nothing else at all.

Wow, 91% after only one play? Nice one. I've played it 18 times so far and haven't even cracked 90%. Personally I'm finding this song tougher than last week's intermediate song (Wish You Were Here).

 

 

Might give it another shot tonight, but I don't know if I'll improve upon that.

@@Tonedef - No. We are definately pulling the same strings.

 

Besides oldschool 99+/99.5+ autoupleveling you can level up anytime by letting us know in a post.

 

Working on an old uplevel song and posting the desired score just does combine the above.

 

I think thats clear.

All I was saying is I had a different answer to the original post. Which post is right? @@Rodman or @@Mortalo . I know we can just say I want to be a master class and it s done, but I believe you gain more from earning it. Thats all I was asking for which @@Rodman gave but I was already told no as seen below. It is what it is.......

 

 

@@Tonedef bass is a tough one, since many bands simply don't care about bass and have painfully simple lines.

We ussually try to stay with 4 lines that we've got and place them how it makes the most sense (which makes 3s on Intermediate or 4/5 on Advanced many times). Though sometimes we have to add another bass line (like this week's Tragically Hip). We might try to keep bass in a class and avoid as much as we can not to do it that way and have more weeks with additional lines.

 

About leveling up - it's always your upper class limit (3 for Beg, 5 for Int, 7 for Adv) and score above 99% for guitar or 99.5% for bass.

+ if anyone wants to level up - just ask and we'll do it :) You can work on other songs if week does not satisfies you and decide that you can go up and you'll go.

 

But you're waitng for more songs of that upper limit... that's not gonna happen. If weekly choices don't have one, it is what it is. You always can try Blues Exercises (check my signature) and post their scores.

I sight read pretty well. Thats what playing Rocksmith for awhile will get you along with a life time of playing video games leave my hand eye coordination high. I excel there but you excel by far in keeping a rhythm which is a much more needed skill imo. I can only smoke so much, so I am going to give it another go and see if I can bump it up.

I rushed and bought the cheapest lefty 5-string available [emoji14] (the value and quality really blow my mind)

Of course not playing too much guitar this week; It's all about that bass

I had the passive 400 version for 2 years before selling it to a friend and getting the Miller V7.

You cannot get any more bass for a lil over 100€.

arghhhhhhh........ gh´nnnnnnnnnnphhhhhhhhhh... that woul´d ´ve been the lead if i didn´t miss about the whole final chord section - at least 100 missed notes. I am happy i failed to take a screener again.

The list was an idea and not even the point of me responding. To me, The previous post reads as no on everything and to only just let us know when you want to move up and if you want to do it the old school way, wait till a song is available. I am happy to go back ourselves from previous songs and use those to level up, that is essentially "the list" without you calling it as such.

 

Sorry, i am not trying to make waves. was simply trying to make sure you all were on board. I will go back to my corner now.
