I decided to give the Advanced Rhythm a go, as my old best score was 39 % it seemed a good time to improve on it.....

 

this took a few goes to get the Prophecy tuned up but very pleased with the result. I'm Going to be a Superstar !!!

 

then it all turned to shit as i tried the INT lead...... just can't bloody do it  :(

 

 

not that I'm bothered ..... i much prefer the Rhythm and Bass anyway  :P

 

need a small beer now a i think I've deserved it  :beer:  :wub:

Is the lead on Gerudo Valley that much different from the bass?  I can't imagine it is.

 

Edit:  Not that I'm really thinking of going back there, but if it's bass-ish, I might...

Yes it is a bit 'bassish' but I just couldn't do it tonight , I'll have another go tomorrow, but I think you need to go there.... blow the cobwebs off of that six string.... I bet you beat me

No! The LAS Scores are always scored as shown on screen regarding ACCURACY (no .XX). The scores in the big (overall mastery) display are ignored. If you have MM disabled - yes they should reflect the accuracy, but they are affected by mastermode and even if disabled by several bugs as we know now.

If you want the .xx scored you must move to Score Attack and play at hard (if the song has DD, else you can go for easy but songcount doesn´t work without DD).

 

That is annoying, yes! But is the compromise we have to take to even allow LAS scores (there would be good reasons not to) for the competition.

 

What i personally find enormously annoying is that seperation between LAS and SA - that there is seperate songcount and the achieved acc.(mastery) in SA is not used for overall best mastery in the LAS songlist.

Guess I'll throw my hat in the ring. I was certainly far from perfect, if I were playing through an amp it would've sounded pretty brutal at times. I couldn't believe I got 100% on this. Finger style all the way!

 

 

Fortunately, those dozens of accidentally muted notes don't count against me. Almost didn't want to post this when I read the rules, because I am most definitely a beginner, I doubt I'd even hit 50% in an intermediate level song. But there it is nonetheless.

I cant seem to hit your score..... perhaps I will palm mute the notes or i need more work on the metronome.
