rs toolkit

So my old version of RS tool kit v2.6 no longer works, don't know why. Anyways, I downloaded v2.82 and ???? How do I convert my songs now to work on my PC???  I've tried to use it and tried looking up info but I'm dumbfounded. Someone have info on how to use it or get v2.6 again would be mighty helpful
