I recently picked up a Boss GP-10 with the Roland GK-3 pickup. Would there be an issue running the RT cable from the GP10 to my PC? I used this set up for two days before the cable suddenly stopped working. I have had this cable for about 3 years with no prior issue, I just find the timing of its demise suspicious.
The alternate tuning function of the processor (with fx and such turned off) seemed to work fine with Rocksmith with little issue regarding notes registering.
Before buying a new cable, I thought I would ask if there were potential issues that could cause the RT cable to stop working (when connected to pedals/processors). No sense in paying twice.
My setup was: | Guitar | === GK Cable === | GP-10 Processor | === Real Tone Cable ===| PC |
I tested the USB port, works fine. When I tested the cable on its own with my 360, no sound or anything.
Thank you for your time and any advice you may offer.
