Rock On!

I really have tried tonight.  But sometimes I've got to admit that playing the same song, over and over again, and making, not the same, but different bloody mistakes again, is just not doing me any good.

 

I also had to adjust the truss rod in my low-tuning bass, because although it's fine in D Standard, the fret buzz in C was driving me up the wall.

 

So after a go on the re-setup low-tuning bass, and doing no better, I gave up and played a load of Foo Fighters stuff. :)

 

I still love this place.

Yeahhhhh... most of my guitar session tonight was spent trying and failing to match myself on To Take the Black. Followed by copius amounts of chorus RR!  :lol:

Looks like this is pretty much as good as it gets for me...

I've still got some work to do on the set-up, but fully intend to give it another go tomorrow.  Then I'll probably decide that I don't really like all the songs I have in C Standard, and settle for D Standard again (Ghost, Volbeat etc...)  :ph34r:

Pretty fun song. ive never heard it before or heard of the band but the singer sounds a lot like pentagram (to me at least).https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4zebKHkDZhIMVllNWhaMWlnVmM/view?usp=sharing  suprised at how good score i got since it was so downtuned i had to use my crappiest bass since its the only only on that has thick enough strings.

Sad to hear of the passing of another influential guitarist - Chuck Berry dead at 90.

 

Seems only fitting that we have a tribute to the great man this week. Any chance Roddy? Johnny B Goode appears to be the most popular download.
