Can't quite get through it on Score Attack, but ALMOST there.  Hopefully I can so I can get a score submitted for the week!

FINALLY got some submitable scores, although not sure I'll be able to break 97% by the deadline.  When are last submissions due weekly?

Saturday 6pm gmt for final submissions @@JuneBeatle80, I believe, sometimes the time changes depending on the workload for the moderators but it's usually 6pm. On a few occasions it's been a couple of hours earlier or couple of hours later but we're given notice if that ever happens. :)

@@JuneBeatle80 , this weeks Beginner song was a bit more challenging than some weeks, so don't worry if you don't get the 97% next week you can go for the 100%

 

Unfortunately for me my first post will be my last post due to work and a weekend away so hopefully I'll get more time next week.... very disappointing when you like the songs   :-(

@@Telboy , It was a great song; enjoying the challenge!  To be honest, I didn't think I liked the song at first, but it grew on me and now it's on my main spotify playlist (same with the GoGo's song last week). =)  Finding this Championship is a great way to discover new music.

 

It's been a while since I played guitar, but I played for several years in the past - but it was a nylon string acoustic and I always played fingerstyle.  Getting used to a pick is much more difficult than I was expecting, and my fretting fingers are sore, but I'm determined!

Here's a minor improvement with +1% and 100+ streak, but I don't think that I can get it into the 90% in this short time - more of a long term goal

I spat the dummy with this one! I don't mind the song, but as others have said can't get the octave chords to register. No score from me this week.

I like this song, played the bass part a while ago (something in the low 80% iirc :)) - failed in the outro with one strike and nice scores everybody else posted here

Google is very kind and keeps multiple iterations of docs for us, in case like that.

I wanted to make a video for Blaze and Metallica, because I finally fixed my recording problems, and I'm able to make videos again, but I don't have time today. Would people still care if I made them tomorrow, when they are irrelevant?

As I don't yet have a playthough sent my way on lead above 95% for my posting I would be very VERY honoured if you could post up a subsequent playthough video(s) when you have a little time. If you check Post #2 from my posting of Blaze - Stare at The Sun, I also hope to soon sent Blaze a compilation of playthroughs from the community, so if you want to feature prominently in that video which Blaze himself will see, have a go at recording yourself playing too. I am waiting for more playthroughs so it might take a few months to complete that project but I will do it if I get enough content.

 

Plus I have to finally hear for myself what hitting practically every note sounds like. That is one thing that was impossible for me to test above 50% speed since my skills are no where near yours!

 

Just recieved Blaze's new album in the mail yesterday. Endure and Survive, Part 2 of the Trilogy of albums for which he is also writing a book. It takes a while for an album to grow on me but the guitar riffs and tones are generally excellent!

 

I just downloaded a bunch of your customs Joker. Looking forward to playing them!

How do you guys play bass sitting down? My fret hand elbow is as high as my head and my wrist hurts. Is it safe to say  bass players MUST stand?

 

At leas tthe larger strings don't dig into the skin as much as the unwound strings of a guitar. Greater noob longevity... :)
