I'm new to this whole cdlc scene.  I just downloaded the latest version of custom song toolkit Latest release build - 2.8.0.0 (rev 3d133c61). For the life of me I cannot figure out how to use it.  I need to change the id of a song and when converting it will not allow me to convert pc to pc.  Can anyone walk me through how to do this properly?

Click IMPORT

change the ID to a song you own

Click GENERATE

 

Or, just buy Cherub Rock and never have to change anything ever.

(Assuming you are on PC)

Just for clarity, the toolkit can change App IDs no problem for pc to pc.  It's in the Packer/Unpacker tab called App ID Updater...

 

 

But yeah, as Rockfirstlast says, Cherub Rock will be the best $3 you ever spend :lol:
