Old Metallica best Metallica. Love these riffs, and can do them pretty well. Then the solos start!

I reckon I might be better at this if I could hear if those high notes were in tune or not.  Since I'm not used to that range, I just can't tell!  :lol:

SONG SELECTION LIST needs you!

 

Every participant has a right to put 4 songs in SSL (+ bonus 5th one as a God of Guitar pick, basically insanely difficult lead guitar tune).

Song needs at least one guitar line (lead or rhythm) and bass. Exception are songs that do not have audible guitar or bass (i.e. Rodrigo y Gabriela are playing on 2 guitars without bass, thus custom cannot have bass).

Song needs Riff Repeater and custom tone (lack of it can break the game, me thinks).

Next to songs artist and name, there are 3 difficulty columns (for each path). It is beneficial for song being selected, to have filled lead guitar difficulty. We understand that you may feel not capable of rating songs difficulty, but at least you heard the song, so you can try and guess better then we (having there wrong number is better then having no number at all).

 

Currently we are in desperate need of beginner lead songs, so beginner participants put there something, 'cause you know better what you can play, otherwise you will end up with Kool Thing every week :lol:

a few small improvements this week, not giving up just a little update,

 

 

 

 

 

 

a small attempt at the *beginner* song......

 

 

and bass.....

 

 

 

Then, just to see what all the fuss was about, aching fingers, sore arms, painful right hand etc etc etc......I had a go at the Metallica song, but couldn't finish it because my arm pumped up like a balloon and my fingers turned into a soft rubber like substance,  and i couldn't play anything after that for 2 hours.

finished it later 74%, didn't take a screenshot because my fingers were not working properly ...... 

Well, after pretty much a little more than a month not playing i'm happy with the 90%, posting both medium and hard screenshots (shouldn'e make a difference since the song doesn't have DD). Medium has slightly better percentage and points but hard has a slightly better note streak.

 

P.S. I probably butchered the harder part of the song but apparently rocksmith doesn't care particularly :P

I think you mean those unisono bends in the solo.... that's an issue since the update, they're both bended now, that's impossible to play and sounds bad... only the lower should be bended.
