at the first run I was confused by the wrong chord informations (all wrong). And cannot play with this crappy tone, use annother one, then it's a good one.

I had to stop and wonder about those chord labels too - off by exactly a fifth.

 

 

What chord labels?  :lol:

 

I'm ignoring all chord labels... just playing something that sounds right, like this:

 

G: - - - - | - - 7 -

D: - - 9 - | - 7 - 7

A: - 9 - 9 | 5 - - - 

E: 7 - - -  | - - - - etc

 

Not sure I've tabbed that correctly, my E string is at the bottom.

Nope.  No joke.  It's the 17th fret.  What/where is that?  :lol:

I'm struggling with the twiddly diddly riff.  Can get it at 95% speed in RR, but faster than that and I usually miss at least 1 note per repeat of the riff...which is a lot of notes over the course of the song. :(

I've been practicing that HO-PO all night, but still no improvement.

 

(Well, I think there was an improvement on the Ho-pos, but the rest of the song fell apart.  I'm at 98.26% (I think), consistently.)

Here's my Monday uptick in Californication - now 97%

So you've tabbed out a B5 arpeggio followed by a D5 arpeggio, IIRC the chord labels show them as F#5 and A5.  So they are off by five semitones (I originally wrote "by a fifth").

 

What I would like to see from the bass note highway is the chord labels that should be being played by the rhythm guitar.  It would save me from reverse engineering any arpeggios that weren't labeled as such.

@missis sumner Indeed I have! I'm either overestimating my previous skills or underestimating my current ones. :) Nothing like facts to set the record straight!

the only I can say about Jump in the fire is my left hand is on fire!

well. my be sound is not such a great... just try to turn on another tone)

I tried Jump in the fire earlier today without warmup,  after that i had to stop playing because my hand hurt.

 

So now a few hours later i spent 1h in Nonstop play and thought i would give it a try after that.

My hand felt a lot better and the accuracy was better, but i still have to many random misses.

Spend a few hours in RR with sections of arpeggio. I used setting for  practice: auto speed up +1, tolerance low (2 miss allowed ), speed repeat 3, started from 85%.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.  Playing Jump in the Fire hurts my left hand, too!
