Sound cuts out at "begin" screen

Rocksmith 2014 Remastered just updated, and now the sound cuts out when it gets to the screen with the "begin" button. I haven't played for awhile, and it worked fine the last time I played.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Does D3DX9_42.dll need updating again?
