I encountered this crash before, but I never really found a solution to fix it. When, I put all four arrangements, the game crashes when you select and when the fret board is about to come up. So, I took little steps, try to compile the song with only just bass and vocals, loads up fine there. Then, I compiled Lead, bass and vocals, and it loads up fine, but when I  add in rhythm It is "Rocksmith2014 stopped working".

 

The odd thing was, I was updating this song to v3, when v1 and v2, those versions didn't crash at all when I had four arrangements in, but this time it did.

 

Sections, tone changes, tech notes were all exactly where I want them to be, and EOF saved it without any problems.

196 seconds into the rhythm arrangement there are 80 tech note bends.  Delete them and get the same effect with vibrato.

That still didn't fix it.

 

 

I used your files to create a psarc and Rocksmith crashed.

 

Then I deleted all tech notes in the rhythm arrangement and was able to play from start to finish.

 

I'll see if there's something else I missed.

Tried again and it worked.

 

Here's exactly what I did (without skipping any steps):

 

- Opened up the notes.eof file using the latest version/hotfix of EOF

- Deleted the tech notes starting from 196 seconds to 212 seconds

- Saved and quit

- Provided a placeholder album art file

- Loaded up all arrangements in toolkit v2.7.1.0-60593c68 beta and filled in any blank fields

- Created psarc file (I did not have Dynamic Difficulty generated)

 

This may or may not be related, but I would put an INTRO section/phrase at the first note.  Not having a section there will mess up riff repeater (possibly mess up DDC too).

Well, I did exactly what told me do to and I even I added the intro sections into all 3 arrangements, but still crashes.

Ran it through DDC and it still works on my PC using v2.7.1.0-60593c68.

 

Do you accidentally have an earlier version of the song in your DLC folder conflicting with the new one (maybe called Heart_Magic-Man_v2_DD_p.psarc)?  Sort by Name in the file explorer if your CDLC folder is too big so you won't miss it.

 

Try playing in Score Attack (instead of Learn a Song) and see if it works.

 

Does this file work for you?  Remember to delete any existing versions.
