The technical problem has been sorted but not before causing a lot of swearing and throwing picks about the room.

 

The good news is that my guitar now works but the bad news is the smoke detector does not   :blink:

 

I was trying to play the Nachbarscaft song but kept getting really bad recognition issues and the sound was pretty shit, eventually I managed to get a score......

 

 

then I swapped the battery for my EMG pick ups with the smoke detector and tah dah.......

 

 

 

I will get better at this I promise now the bloody guitar is working properly.

Great little solo on this one, but I'm having a hard time to get the strum/mute pattern right.  (But Rocksmith does not really care about that)

I cannot 95 H.T. - it´s that tiny winey damn bit too fast for me - no chance to improve over 90.

 

so - if i am too slow i think there is one thing i should go into...

When I say improvements, I mean minor, and all 'round means just Adv and MC.

 

However I still maintain that the MC is easier than the Adv - H.T is not really fast - it's just the scroll speed! ;)

Beg Lead 95.66% highest streak 58, score 261,629  I don't want to play it again. 

 

No Int Rhythim apparently, but the Advanced Rhythm (albeit fun) is rather impossible for me. Ah well.  Rocksmith isn't Mad at me for getting only 53% accuracy, it's just disappointed...

I may try it again to get a better score, but it's kind of frustrating to play.  At times RS seems to have trouble detecting notes on the E string when tuned lower than standard.  But at least I am improving my playing, which is all that really matters anyway.

So, my exam session is finally over. Too bad now rocksmith won't register like 60% of the notes i play, i'm definetly sure to hit the right ones (and let's face it, Xerces isn't really the hardest song to play) but if i don't tap the fret instead of holding my finger on it the note just won't register...

 

Tomorrow i'll try to change the strings and see if that solves anything (they are not the newest and i don't really think that's the problem but worth giving it a shot i guess), also my guitar doesn't really like drop tunings. I guess i should maybe start looking into a better one because i'm kinda fed up with all these problems and right playing gets pretty frustrating pretty quickly...

Another good week! This one hurt my wrist -- I think I got too tense trying to keep up. Will return to it as I get better though.
