I must be missing something but whenever I look at a song by customsforge it will have a purchase button but when clicked it takes me to RiffRepeater with a list of Rocksmith songs but no purchasing options (Don't Fear the Reaper as an example)

So....how do I purchase these type of songs? I know this particular song was put on customsforge back in 2012 so is it no longer available for purchase?

Thanks for any insight you can provide?

Yes, I did search the forum and read the FAQ prior to starting this thread and couldn't find anything related to purchasing these songs.

If the user name is "CustomsForge" then that is the staff adding into the DB a song that is official UbiSoft content. You are directed to TRR so you can see the videos of the oDLC and follow the links there to steam etc to buy it.

You won't find these songs as CDLC.

@@Vetie Those songs are listed under Rocksmith on steam : http://store.steampowered.com/app/205190 as they were originally available as DLC for Rocksmith. They WILL work with Rocksmith 2014 Remastered and you can buy them without any issue so you can go ahead and buy them.

Thanks for the replies everyone, you have taught me a valuable lesson in searching the Steam store.

I initially thought that these songs were part of the first Rocksmith as you mention so I typed "Don't" in the Steam store search and the song didn't show up in the context sensitive results so I then erased "Don't" and just typed in "Reaper", again nothing (song related) so I assumed it wasn't for sale on the Steam store and proceeded to post my message on this forum.

After reading your replies, I went back to Steam and typed "Don't Fear" in the store search and it shows up.

Lesson learned :)

Thanks again!
