Hopefully this forum will help but my steam account was hacked by a stranger and I had rocksmith 2014 in it! How can I get my steam account back ? I miss playing the game and haven't played for 2 years because of this person.  :(

I really don't understand why you wouldn't have done something sooner 2 years is a stupid amount of  time to just do nothing.

I had it happen to me a few years ago i contacted steam support and they dealt with it very quickly. I then implemented the 2 step verification with my mobile and it has stopped a few repeat attempts already.

Guitars: ESP LTD F-54 Bass, Tanglewood Curbow4 Bass, Stagg BC300-N Bass, Yamaha BBN5bk (5String), ESP LTD AX-360, Plus a cheapo no name acoustic

I tried many times before but steam kept denying. The person changed their email and phone number on my steam account which makes it harder for me . I wasn't just doing nothing but during those years I listened to loads of music, and watched how others play on youtube to learn instead. NOW I actually just want to play along to songs with rocksmith again since I basically know how to play guitar and it would be really fun but sadly my steam has a problem

I think he is fishing for a link to illegal downloads. Just my Opinion

Rocksmith is worth the money. I used to have a hacked version but liked it so much that I purchased the 2014 version. Then purchased 2012 version (for the extra songs) and Import Pack too. If you really like or love guitar, then there should be no doubt in your mind, spend the money.

Dude.. Go over to www.g2a.com buy a cd key, and download steam (its free) and create a new account.  That's all you have to do if you have the cable
