I find some songs that were submitted with DD available but then come to find there is DD for like one rythm part but the Bass/Lead and Alt Lead have no DD enabled. 

 

Is there a fix I can run on these CDLCs or were they just not created properly or labled correctly when the file was submitted?

In RS 2014 remastered you can disable DD globally. In RS 2014 (without remastered) it was possible to level it up manually to have all notes in RR, in RS 2012 it was not possible and there was a tool to remove the DD.

 

Some created customs without DD or added DD as a bonus or rhythm arrangement. Some people like to have DD to learn a song and others want to play it always with having all notes. In the remastered version the play counter in Learn a song does not increment in customs without DD. You can fix it with the song manager or Toolkit. If you don't like DD as said before it doesn't matter to have a custom where the charter did not add DD - with the global setting you disable it in one place.

 

The NDD customs had one nice "feature" - you could play score attack easy with having all notes and missing more notes than in score attack hard before getting a 3 strikes.
