having issues making the custom songs work using a MAC

i have followed all the steps and it seems my biggest issue as of now is when i launch the rsinjector file nothing happens,  if i i open rocksmith directly through steam i can see the new content but after  tuning the song never starts. 

i have read in the directions that if i launch rsinjector rocksmith should launch from there 

 

any help out there
