Can you tell me why rocksmith randomly goes to the clean guitar sound and wont change, so i have to re-boot?

My guess is that you have a broken cdlc.

removed them all and it still does this any other ideas?

Mine started doing this too. if I figure it out i'll let you know

It can be related to how hard the game is on your CPU.

I think MaZtoR is right.

I downloaded the latest version of the song manager beta and ran it. I had an older version which I uninstalled and I deleted the CSFM folder in Documents before installing the newer version. Then I went into  Rocksmith2014/Backup/Remastered and deleted all the CDLCs in the  corrupt and maxfive folders (There were a couple in each folder).

I rebooted and everything seems to be working fine now
