validating steam files

i have to do this before i start RS2014 almost everytime...Went to play and instead of arrows pointing where i hit the wrong note on fretboard,,,there was just a grey square showing up,,same as i tuned...didn,t show the little RS shield on every string,,just a small grey square...

Anyone else have these problems show up? When i validate files,,it fixes things but this just started to happen..

    Run Steam as Admin validate files start Rocksmith exit out of Rocksmith and then Steam, run as normal user.

     

    See if that fixes the issue.

     

    With each new Windows release more and more user isolation occurs even if your account is admin typically it's not full admin.
