How did you get it to work? All the instructions I read make no sense. Can you help me figure this out? I just got 2014 remastered for my mac, I really want the cdlc but I don't know how to set it up.

i followed all the instructions, I put the songs I downloaded in the dlc folder, I made sure that they are for mac, but they don't show up when i play the game?

Did you buy Cherub Rock?  

I bought Mismurder by AFI for 2014. I thought I could buy any game for 2014 for it to work. Do I have to buy Cherub Rock?

After loading the patch, rocksmith just crash's?

I'm so lost. From what I see now, there is no need for the RS injector. But, do you still need to do the mono framework thing installed. Also, I am not very savvy at this permissions, file changes, and all the other stuff I see in this forum to install on a mac. Is there anyone in central FL or in FL that really understands this, and could get it working for me? I would even pay you.

I  cant seem to get my customs songs to work .. the game just freezes when I try to play them .. I have tryed all sorts of tips and hints and stuff .. real bummer that it dosent work ! .. :( please help ..

Works on my Macbook Air.  Thanks, now I can focus again on the songs that I can't play on my X1 :).

i followed the instructions and it worked once with a Chris isaak's song. Then i switched my computer off and when i came back it had disapeared. I don't remember what i did the second time it worked (certainly the same thing), and since it never worked again. I tried everything (without or with RS injector that even doesn't launch the game anyway). Please help me ! I think i need instructions from the beginning....

Is there any other Mac users having problems with freezing after tuning ? or completely crashing ?

@Telboy13  Hey there, my CDLC is freezing at tuning.  It was working two days ago and all of a sudden stopped when I tried playing yesterday.  I ran the patch thing again, and no luck.  My official DLC is working though.  I'm on OS X 10.11.6

@ and @@ajp392 There was another update to the game so you need to reapply the patch

@firekorn  I've tried it a few times and it's still not working for me.

 

EDIT:  So the patch I had and used the first time was apparently the problem.  So I just re-downloaded it, ran it, and now it's working.  Thanks guys!

@@ajp392 I removed the old patch and started again, just so i didn't have duplicate patches all over the place, and it worked ok.

What does it mean to repatch the app? I'm on a Mac. Steam downloaded an update for RS yesterday and none of my customs are working. 

@@QuantumxQueen, you need to re-run "RUN_PATCH RS.command".

If it works one day and not the next, it's probably been updated and needs to be re-patched. Sometimes you might need to run the patch twice for it to work. They've been pushing updates more frequently now.

This is good important stuff to know.
