Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice.

In the name of transparency, I'm going to be completely up front about this issue. I have two copies of Rocksmith 2014 - One legitimate steam copy, one illegally obtained pirate copy. I understand that piracy is bad, but please don't discount the rest of this topic. (I got the legit copy cheap, naively thinking that I could get a cheap realtone cable or circumvent it somehow, however I now have a real tone cable, too)

As previously mentioned, I've two copies. Both with identical DLC folders. I want to transfer over to the legitimate rocksmith for obvious reasons, as well as the benefits of steam.

However, I'm having problems with cdlc on my steam version. It seems that the cdlc for any band that has an official dlc pack doesn't work (for example, cdlc of the new blink album doesn't work because they have official dlc). Other cdlc, such as say Ensiferum, works fine.

I own the base game (remastered) and cherub rock, but I'm wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong or should change somewhere?

EDIT:

Since upgrading to Remastered, it's showing but wont play. Just crashes when it gets to the amps where the fretboard should display

FINAL EDIT:

Would've helped if I'd looked for the dll file at the top of the page!
