What should I do with edited cdlc?

I wanted to make some changes to a cdlc, and I ended up making almost completely different lead part of the song. So I was wondering if I can share it. Should I submit is as new cdlc or share in the comments of the cdlc that was edited. Can I submit it as new cdlc if I remove rhythm and bass parts?
