My slap technique is REAALLY quite poo... but it's less poo than earlier so I'm going to polish it some more and hope that if I smudge it around a bit, no one will really notice how bad it is. Your score may indeed remain better than mine if I stay crap at slap :D

BTW, If any of you ladies want my love, you can come and get 97.3% of it.  I won't say where the other 2.7% of my priceless funk went because I don't actually know.

@@2groggy . I've only got about 2.7% love left to give and I tend to use that last bit to secretly eat bags of licorice allsorts when I am alone. 2.7% love would probably only equate to a personal message describing a foot rub, anyways :) @@missis sumner may be able to help though but I think she may call The Police :)

Yeah, it´s enormous!

And the really good thing is it happens all by itself and you never have the feeling of "working hard on your skills" or something like that.

 

"Join the Championship - cause the Championship is good for you!" ;)

 

One more thing - about trying bass... if you don´t have a bassguitar do yourself a favor and get one. Playing emulated has no-thing to do with groving on a real full size bass. Right after i joined here @Motive @@Molice the artist formerly known as @Motive made me buy a bass with a flaming speech that there is no life without bass ;) - one of the best things that happened to me.

Plus they start at real affordable prices - mine, new 120€.

Yeah @@Rodman I haven't used 'emulated bass', since I bought a second hand Epiphone Thunderbird a couple of years ago. It's ok but goes a bit strange after the 12th fret, especially on anything but standard tuning...... I have to compensate by hitting the wrong fret to get the right register.

 

The championship has improved my playing enormously and has given me the confidence to try the more challenging songs.....still loving it.

Rocksmith update is comming...

U: OKAY I've seen a BIG RED MESSAGE on the top... Can anyone send me old rocksmith2014 from steam?

Fuck my game updated before I saw the message. Will using a backup work?

@@AlpaQ Revert your windows to a previous date. Unless steam downloads and saves to the cloud, which i dont remember if it does. If the update is only on your local files then probably doing a restore on windows to like yesterday or something would help. I havent opened steam because i was afraid this would need a new dll

Edit: You might lose the ne obliviscaris cdlc and may need to work on your scores on it again from 0%

@@AlpaQ Also double check to see if you have something important you might lose from the revert!

Someone just posted in the official borked cdlc discussion thread that they tried playing offline with their router off and it worked fine.  So as far as the championship is concerned, if this does work for everyone it's a work around to keep it going. 

@@AlpaQ First of all to revert to a previous date you have to have had an important program like directx or vc installed or there wont be any dates to go back to (alternatively, you could create your dates for the restore but now its too late). To check, go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery then click Open Restore. If you have an available restore point, it will take you through the process but if you dont it will say its unavailable, in which case i have run out of ideas. Also really important, check how far back the restore will take you! You may lose important stuff. Ive heard people got their save files of games corrupt so try this if you REALLY want to play cdlc and wont wait for the new dll file!!!!

I had my wife turn off the wifi on my laptop. Hopefully it hasn't auto downloaded. I'll find out when I get home. I was going to practice this evening.

@Fraggle Baggle Lets hope there is a fix, which will probably happen. What could they have changed that coders wouldnt find? They made cdlc possible before and the update isnt really a gamechanger, its some feautures that were missing and some bug fixes

@ Fuck, it actually be easier to use my rocksmith backup from a few weeks ago. Any Idea on how to use that?

@ Revert will work only if folder of steam`s games setled on system disk. If library of game on other disks revert backup system will not affect. And if your Steam was online and for RS14 setting is on autoupdate, then game over.

What's happenin'?  I've been playing online, I think (Steam), but no noticeable update?
