Sweet mountain river is one of my favorite on disk songs,  My save file got corrupted a few months ago so my play count is low, but i have played it at lest 30 more times in the years.

 

Beat my old mastery of 96% on the first try for a while.

2nd day was only dinner, so I can share why 1st day was a fun time:

 

Yesterday, my younger cousin (only younger cousin :P ) decided to make 1st of October important day in her life. It was a great day for a wedding. Yesterday was the pinnacle of early fall/late summer, with hottest day in a weeks and in many months to come. Sun was high, people were smiling, she couldn't be luckier.

When we got to the hall, it didn't took me long to find my sit. 1st I found my bro's spot, next to him was me and next to me was no one :o "That sucks", I thought. I looked who is sitting in front of me and I was struck that next to that are two completely different chairs. "What, they run out of chairs? :lol: " No, it was a Newlyweds spot! In front of me was her sister, so I was quite honoured and proud.

We're living in the same house. Big old building, we (my family) on 1st floor, they on 2nd. Always spending the Christmas Eve dinner (big thing in Poland) together.

Back to the party. Food? Very good, highly pleased. Music? @@missis sumner will like it. We started off with ABBA (they're quite popular in Poland) and it was good until it become garbage fest. Since then I enjoyed going outside. Some cousins are smoking, so we could chat there. Also groom is friend to mine and my bro's old pal, so we could catch up a little. Then we found table football outside and played few times (I might have played it for the 1st time :D ). We played with bride's sister new guy, he seemed nice and he seemed to like all new cousins he has now. There is quite a bunch of us (total of 9, 7 weddings left). At the end I even beat my brother :lol:

Party was getting slower so we left at around 3 a.m. It was better then I imagined. As a person who does not drink alcohol (someone has to take care of all those drunk grandpa's who started to participate in our Championship :lol: ), I can say that it was a good time.

Starting off with Monster Truck since I'm in D anyway. It wasn't even that long since I played this last and I still jumped over 1.5% for this score. Let's see if I can do it again.

 

I played the MC too, but got downlevelled twice and a mid-70s score, so let's pretend that never happened.  :lol:

@@Gamut that's awesome, it is a shame that Celine Dion seems to be the most recognised Canadian in our land. I do my best to spread the word and educated my friends on Canadian rock music though (mostly Rush mind you) :)

 

Rush is like the only good internationally acclaimed Canadian artist! Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, and Nickelback all get far more attention than they deserve, while Mother Mother, Billy Talent, Big Wreck, Tokyo Police Club, Alexisonfire, and BADBADNOTGOOD go unknown outside our country in spite of having much higher craft.

 

One of the reasons I started making CDLC was to get exposure to Canadian bands who deserve it, but I haven't opened EOF in months. I should get back to it...

I am so going to be practicing my slap bass technique for this, it's frippen awesome! :)

Got a  98.96% on the Blood Red Summer for beginner rhythm after quite a few tries.  Catchy toon.  Will try to bring that up this week.

ow, lesson learned about taking a few weeks off to work, (and not on guitar).  my hands are stiff and out of shape, will use for motivation to get better... i hope.

I seem to be having an issue with Rocksmith's audio. Thought I'd ask here first before casting a net. There seems to be gaps and jarring in the sound, like a record skipping then making a whirring noise like a tape's got jammed in a cassette deck (Cassette deck = ye olde music device, for those born post 2000) then it'll carry on as normal but with intermittent disconnections and buzzing. It's not my headphones or sound card it seems it's an actual fault with Rocksmith itself as it's happening in the start up as it's loading up. It's actually really quite bad and I am not able to play because of these horrible noise interruptions putting me off or just all together wrecking the song. Any advice is much appreciated :)

 

Ignore... it is something on my end that's causing the problem. gonna try sort it now :)

 

Fixed! If you ever find you're having sound issues like buzzing and cutting out/freezing while playing a game, switch that annoying Cortana thing off... she's a flippin' pain! ( this wasn't meant to rhyme.) Windows 10 has been a big bag of balls.

Should be able to have a bash at the new songs tonight although my best score on Monster Truck Ryhthm was 78% but that was a while back, lets see if I can improve that.

I had a similar issue on the Mac, the other day.  I tracked it down to running Outlook at the same time.  Outlook's been awfully glitchy of late.

 

I also had a problem where Rocksmith started and all the tuning seemed higher than normal.  Even the background voice man sounded more girly.  I thought we'd had the update and he'd been replaced…  Anyway, I solved the issue by switching everything off and on again… :)

I drove it 250 miles up the motorway at about 60mph, concentrating on the rather vague steering.  No wonder I'm knackered...
